And quite rightly so – promoted by Department for Business and Trade and superbly hosted by Simon Keegan and Robyn Hewson – both of Insider Media fame. There were so many inspiring export stories from a wealth of impressive and inspiring panellists and #exportchampions – and not to mention the event being closed by Kevin Hollinrake himself – Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for the Department for Business and Trade – quite a coup to have him do so.
It’s been well documented that Fleetsolve is in the first phase of its #exportjourney, and we just wanted to take this opportunity to say a couple of “thank you’s” to some key people who have wholeheartedly supported us on our journey thus far.
This sort of support is probably often overlooked – it is provided by range of experienced business professionals, all of whom are available to support you and your business.
So – a big thank you from our CEO, Keith O’Connor and Marketing Director, Andrew Colwell to Ben Flanagan of the Growth Platform – Liverpool City Region Growth Company and his team, for the kind invite to the event – and more so for his consistent support in giving Fleetsolve the opportunity to evidence our #renewablepower and #decarbonisation credentials both domestically across the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and further afield as a part of the Department for Business and Trade’s #InternationalTradeMissions
Talking of which, a further thank you must go out to both Margaret Bourke and Veronica Dawson MIEx who have led the two most recent trade missions that Fleetsolve has been on – superbly well organised and terrific opportunities for business growth and making new connections.
Additionally, a thank you to both Trystan Shaw and Michael Ashworth in the DBT’s marketing and communications team for affording us the opportunity to capture some of these experiences for the forthcoming promotional campaign – very much appreciated.
And finally, not a thank you exactly, but just to say how useful and enjoyable it was to meet both Liz Bennington Northern Director of the DBT and, Thomas O’Brien chair of LCR Freeport – rest assured we look forward to developing and sharing our growth journey with you along the way!
The next round of government funding for low carbon heat networks closes on 23 February 2024.
