We used the event to reinforce two big messages across to UK power industry professionals: that the engines division of Siemens Energy recently returned to the ownership and brand of Guascor Energy, and that Fleetsolve are proud to be the official UK&I distributor for their OEM parts supply, servicing, engine supply and CHP installations.
From within the industry, the audience heard an insightful talk from Will Kirk-Wilson, Operability Strategy Manager, National Grid ESO, explaining the complexity of the on-site and distributed energy generation, and how the UK grid is leading the way (across Europe) in terms of providing the ability for the diversity of power generation.
From outside of the industry, we enjoyed an inspiring talk from Penny Mallory, ex-rally champion, Mental Toughness expert and TedX speaker. It is Penny’s wide range of experiences in sport, adventure and business that have made her keynotes acclaimed international favourites for many of the world’s most powerful and storied brands, including Microsoft and Coca Cola.
Given the specific nature of the conference focus – “Energy Security in Uncertain Times” – it just felt right that we should be one of the event sponsors. At the end of the day, it’s what Fleetsolve has been successfully delivering for over 20 years now!
+ Delivering energy security
+ Leaders in enabling on-site decarbonisation
+ Specialists in supplying renewable power
+ Enabling the energy transition
